I'm a Fine Art Painter working primarily with oil paint. I concentrate on three genres: Abstraction, Semi-Figuration and Portraiture. Semi-Figurative work and Portraits are usually painted to commission.

My work is mainly inspired by music. Favourite sources are Stravinsky, Arvo Pärt, Glass, Taverner and most modern Classical music through to Rock, Folk Rock and Folk Music.

I'm also very interested in Folk Lore, Archaeology, Architecture and Earth Works, all of which can crop up in a painting one way or another.
